"When I met Jyothi, I was only expecting to meet my now-husband's yoga teacher. He spoke of her often and affectionately, crediting her with strengthening his yoga practice. As a skeptic yogi and historically inflexible woman, I was astonished how slowly I, too, began to develop a better yoga practice and more relaxed mindset the more time I spent in Jyothi's classes. As time wore on and our joint friendship with Jyothi deepened, it make perfect sense to ask her to be the officiant for upcoming wedding. As an Interfaith Minister, Jyothi crafted an amazingly intimate, bilingual ceremony that seamlessly incorporated numerous family traditions. At our reception, nearly all of our guests commented on how our ceremony was one of the most special they had ever had witnessed. When we discovered we were expecting our first child, Jyothi, once again, amazed me with her diverse skill set as she guided me through her pre-natal and post-natal Mommy and Me classes.
In our mind and in our hearts, Jyothi is our mentor, our friend and an essential part of our family."
